Ashwaganda

Postby INN777 on Fri Nov 06, 2009 2:37 am

I recently became interested in Ayurveda and learned about Ashwaganda that is an adaptagen, balances nervous system etc. and is especially good for Vatas. Sounded like my kind of herb (I am a Vata-Pitta) and I started taking it.

Recently read on one of the forums from an Ayurvedic doctor that Ahswaganda is not good for women because it can disturb hormonal balance and that it's a herb for men. Since I am female, I am not sure what to do.

Is this true about Ashwaganda?

Thanks, INN
